On March 5, Transport Minister Nguyen Van Thang, accompanied by Party Central Committee members, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh, and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam, inspected the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Project.
On Vinaconex's side, the contractor of the project’s construction had the participation of Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Toi.
Project Management Unit no. 7's report indicates that site clearance for the project up to now is basically complete, with ongoing efforts to address compensation and relocation issues in collaboration with local authorities.
Currently, Vinaconex contractor and joint venture have deployed 1,800 engineers, workers, and nearly 1,000 machines to expedite construction, targeting completion by June 2025, six months ahead of schedule.
In a working session, Minister Nguyen Van Thang commended Project Management Unit no. 7 and contractors for their dedication in overcoming challenges and speeding up construction. He also thanked Khanh Hoa province leaders for their support in site clearance and project facilitation. He expressed his hope for the earliest completion of the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project among 12 component projects scheduled for 2021 to 2025, welcoming the 14th National Party Congress.
As one of 12 component projects set to commence on January 1, 2023, Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway has a total length of about 83.35km, starting at Km 285 + 000 and ending at Km 368 + 000, with an estimated investment of VND 11,808 billion. Vinaconex - Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. joint venture is honored to undertake package XL-02, covering the Van Phong - Nha Trang section of the North-South expressway project (2021 - 2025), spanning 30.85 km with a total investment of VND 3,549 billion. |
