On May 10, 2022, at the construction site of the Cat Ba - Amatina project, in Cat Ba town and Tran Chau commune, Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city, Vinaconex Corporation held an emulation launching ceremony in response to the Workers’ month and celebrates the 34th anniversary of Vinaconex Corporation’s establishment (from September 27, 1988 to 27 September 2022).
In the presence of the participants, the employer and the contractors of the project signed the Emulation Agreement, with the goal that the total production of the project’s construction investment would exceed VND 2,000 billion by December 31, 2022, while assuring the project's safety, quality, progress, and efficiency. It’s targeted to hand over 99 A1 (BT4) villas with completed superstructures, landscapes, gardens, and fences, reaching a production of over VND 802 billion by August 31, 2022.
In the remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Xuan Hai, Vice Chairman of VNUBW believed that Vinaconex would build a high-class construction of resort urban complex having modern features while preserving the indigenous cultural heritages. He also requested Vinaconex to keep taking care of the material and spiritual well-being of the union members and workers throughout the Corporation in general as well as at the Cat Ba - Amatina project in particular. At the same time, Vinaconex shall hold suitable and practical activities in response to the Workers’ month 2022 during the production and business process in order to establish harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
At the ceremony, the VNUBW had practical actions for the Workers’ month by presenting 110 gifts, each worth equal to VND 500,000, and one gift bag containing best wishes to each and every union member, and worker working on the construction site of the Cat Ba Amatina project in order to encourage them to enter the acceleration phase with the determination to achieve the set goals.
That was a significant event in response to Workers' Month and demonstrates the project investor, Vinaconex Tourism Development and Investment JSC (Vinaconex -ITC), a member unit of Vinaconex Corporation, has the necessary resolve in front of the industry union and leaders of Hai Phong city to organize the synchronous construction implementation so that the project would be completed soon and the tourism development of Hai Phong in general and Cat Ba district in particular, would be promoted in line with the guiding spirit from the Central Resolution.
