The project includes key works:
- River water canal: open channel, length 3.5 km,
- River water pumping station Phase 1: capacity 346,000 m3/day;
- Raw water pipeline to Dam Bai lake: DN1600, length 450m, steel pipe
- Dam Bai Reservoir: capacity of 4,880,000 m3 of water,
- Lake water pumping station to the treatment plant: DN1600, length 350m, steel pipe;
- Treatment plant phase 1, including 02 units, each unit with a capacity of 330,000m3/day with treatment lines; receiving and distribution tanks, settling tanks, jars, disinfection, clean water tanks.
- The transmission pipeline is 45.8 km long from the treatment area to Hanoi, applying new technology and materials, using fiberglass reinforced composite pipes.
- Intermediate tank phase 1: total capacity of 60,000m3, including 02 tanks each with a capacity of 30,000m3
The project has provided clean water for the entire southwest area of Hanoi and some inner Hanoi areas with an average water volume of 220,000-240,000 m3/day (accounting for about 30% of the total supply of clean water). city level).
As of June 30, 2014, the project has provided about 303,385,989 m3 of clean water meeting the standards of the Ministry of Health to the people of the Capital.
