VINACONEX AND HANOI UNIVERSITY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING LAUNCH SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAM IN TRAFFIC CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING FOR HIGH-SPEED AND URBAN RAILWAYS

On December 18, 2024, VINACONEX Joint Stock Corporation and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) inaugurated a training course in traffic construction engineering, specializing high-speed and urban railways. This collaborative initiative aims to address the growing demand for highly skilled professionals in preparation for key national transport infrastructure projects, particularly the North-South high-speed railway.  

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung, Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering stated that the opening ceremony represents not only a milestone in the university’s mission to cultivate high-quality human resources but also a testament to the enduring strategic partnership between HUCE and VINACONEX Corporation. With over 65 years of history, the university has established itself as a leader in engineering education, supported by a faculty of highly qualified lecturers with extensive industry experience. It has produced hundreds of thousands of engineers and specialists in fields such as construction, transportation, technical infrastructure and so on. For this course, the university has developed a modern curriculum that seamlessly integrates theoretical instruction with practical application, ensuring that learners are equipped with both the knowledge and hands-on experience required to contribute effectively to real-world projects upon graduation.

Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of VINACONEX, underscored the importance of continuous innovation and human resource development as key pillars for sustainable growth in the context of Vietnam's rapid development, particularly in the transportation sector in order to maintain VINACONEX’s position as a leading brand in construction and real estate.

The learners enrolled in this specialized program are university graduates in the majors of Traffic Construction Engineering, Bridge and Road Construction, and Road Bridge Construction Engineering Technology, etc with valuable experience from large-scale transportation projects that VINACONEX selected  through a rigorous evaluation process. 
Upon completion of the training program, learners would earn a university degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in high-speed and urban railways.

The railway engineering training course, a collaborative effort between VINACONEX and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, carries both academic significance and a profound responsibility for national development.
