The Conference on the Organization of Trade Union Congresses at all levels was held both in person and online.
The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, President of the VINACONEX Trade Union; Vice Presidents of the Trade Union; members of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, and Supervisory Committee; members of departments and subcommittees for Congress preparation; as well as leaders and officers from 23 grassroots trade unions involved in organizing the congresses.
President of VINACONEX Trade Union Nguyen Manh Cuong, said that the Corporation's Trade Union is actively implementing key objectives according to the general plan of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In his opening remarks, the President of the VINACONEX Trade Union, emphasized: “The Trade Union Congresses at all levels and the 7th VINACONEX Trade Union Congress are significant political events, serving as an opportunity for all officials, members, and employees to demonstrate their democratic spirit, solidarity, and creativity - contributing to building an ever-stronger trade union organization.”
He further shared that the VINACONEX Trade Union is actively implementing the key objectives in alignment with the general plan of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, including:
Reviewing and evaluating the implementation of resolutions from the 2023-2025 term; formulating directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term;
Contributing feedback on the draft documents of higher-level Trade Union Congresses;
Proposing amendments and supplements to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union;
Electing the new VINACONEX Trade Union’s Executive Committee and the delegation to attend the superior-level Congress.
During the conference, participants also heard key presentations from Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Vice President of the VINACONEX Trade Union, on the organizational plan and personnel arrangements for the upcoming congresses; Mr. Nguyen Hai Lam, Vice President of the Trade Union, on communication, logistics, and ceremonial preparations for the congresses; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, Head of the Financial Department of the Trade Union, who provided budget guidelines on expenditure regulations for organizing grassroots-level congresses.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, Head of the Finance Department of the Corporation's Trade Union, guided the expenditure regulations for organizing the grassroots trade union congress.
At the conference, delegates discussed and reached consensus on plans for organizing Trade Union Congresses at all levels, personnel arrangements, preparation of congress documents, communication and media activities, as well as budget guidelines for grassroots congress organization.
The Conference on organizing Trade Union Congresses at all levels marks an important starting point, laying the foundation for the VINACONEX Trade Union to continue affirming its role in representing, protecting, and enhancing the welfare of employees, contributing to the sustainable development of the Corporation.
In his closing remarks, President of the VINACONEX Trade Union Nguyen Manh Cuong, affirmed: “With the spirit of Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development, the VINACONEX Trade Union and all grassroots unions across the system are determined to successfully prepare and organize the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, heading toward the 7th VINACONEX Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.”/.
