Yen My lake overpass belongs to Package XL 03, a component project of the investment construction of the Nghi Son section under National Highway 45, which is implemented by the joint venture of Mien Trung Construction Group and Vietnam Construction and Import - Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex) as contractors. Particularly, Vinaconex is in charge of the 995.8-meter-long bridge's construction.
The component project of the National Highway 45-Nghi Son section under the Eastern North-South expressways passing through Nong Cong district and Nghi Son town (Thanh Hoa province), has a total length of 43.28 km with a total investment of VND 5,534,472 billion.
Since the bridge was built over Yen My Lake, one of the biggest freshwater lakes in Thanh Hoa province, which is part of the Yen My eco-tourism area (in the territory of Nong Cong district - Thanh Hoa province), environmental conservation and occupational safety have always been top priorities.
Overcoming all obstacles, Vinaconex has attempted to organize all the human resources and equipment working on five construction sections in 24/7 shift work to accelerate the progress.
So far, the contractor Vinaconex has completed 42.7% of the required workload with a product of 103 out of 240 billion VND and has attempted to finish the bridge by June 2023.
