VINACONEX ADVANCES ITS DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Following the BOD Chairman's directive to accelerate comprehensive digital transformation, VINACONEX recently held a training programme on “Using Google Services for Employees” in both in-person and online formats. The programme equipped staff with practical skills to leverage digital workplace platforms and artificial intelligence tools, laying the groundwork for improved governance efficiency and productivity across the organisation.

The programme was organized in partnership with Gimasys, an authorized Google partner in Vietnam, and connected employees at the Corporation's headquarters, Project Management Boards, and subsidiaries across the system via a hybrid format.

In his opening remarks, HR Director Nguyen Quoc Huy underscored that mastering Google Workspace and AI tools is an essential requirement in the digital transformation journey. He affirmed that the training would help employees make the most of digital platforms to boost productivity and work quality.

During the programme, Gimasys experts guided participants through the full Google Workspace ecosystem, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat, and Google Meet. The training focused on optimizing email management, data storage and sharing, real-time collaboration, and enhancing team productivity in a digital environment.

Participants also explored and experienced Google's AI tools, including Gemini and NotebookLM through real-world scenarios. These applications support information search, synthesis and analysis, content creation, data processing, and task automation, helping reduce processing time and improve overall efficiency.

With a blend of theory and hands-on practice, the programme enabled employees to quickly familiarize themselves with digital platforms and apply them confidently to their daily work. The initiative also helped foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and digital collaboration across the VINACONEX system.

The training programme is one of several concrete steps in VINACONEX's digital transformation strategy.
