At the ceremony to announce and honour the Vietnamese Excellent Brand in 2022 held on October 12, Vinaconex Corporation (HOSE: VCG) was honored in the Top 10 Strong Brands in the Construction and Building Materials Industry in 2022.
Vietnamese Excellent Brand Awards program is an annual event organized by VnEconomy and Vietnam Economic Times since 2003 for the Vietnamese enterprise community.
With the theme "Creating & Developing Green Vietnamese Brands", the criteria of this year’s program focused on the strategies, action plans, and business performance that reflect the digital transformation, environmental transformation, energy savings, prioritising the use of clean energy, as well as the development of production models and policies towards its employees and the community.
All of the awarded brands belong to reputable, efficient, and innovative Vietnamese enterprises.
Vietnamese Excellent Brand 2022 program announced and honored the following categories: Top 10 Excellent Brands 2022, Top 10 Green Brands 2022, Top 10 Impressive Growth Brands 2022, and Top 10 Brands in Banking, Financial Services, Real Estate, Construction, Industry, Agriculture, Digital Technology, and Retail.
Vinaconex was honoured to be named one of the Top 10 Strong Brands in Construction, Building Materials Industry 2022 among other prestigious brands like Cotana, Delta, Coninco, Newtecons, Viglacera, Eurowindow Holding, etc.
Regardless of the economy being heavily affected by the pandemic in 2021, Vinaconex could still "swim against the tide", with profit after tax reaching VND 520 billion. This amount was VND 719.64 billion in the first six months of 2022, exceeding more than half of the year's profit target. Vinaconex has always maintained an increasing dividend payout ratio every year.
