Recently, the Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex), has seen an increase in reports of scammers targeting gullible victims, aiming for fraudulent appropriation of property.
Scammers often spoof Vinaconex’s registered brand on websites whose domain names of http://www.vinaconex.cc/, http://www.vinaconex.org, and/or social network apps such as Telegram, Zalo, and Facebook, in which scammers claim to be Vinaconex and/or Vinaconex representative, using Vinaconex logos, images, and information associated with Vinaconex's completed projects. They also encourage visitors to register, invest, or contribute capital with high interest rates, and may even forge Vinaconex's seal to issue recruitment invitations or job descriptions. These actions are fraudulent and involve the misappropriation of property, as shown in the attached images.

Considering the aforementioned sophisticated tactics and blatant legal violations, to prevent fraudulent appropriation of property, Vinaconex hereby reiterates the following
1. All information and images mentioned above are completely fraudulent, constituting an illicit use of the Vinaconex brand to commit fraudulent acts, which falls under the fraudulent appropriation of property as stipulated in Article 174 of the Penal Code. Vinaconex neither engages in nor has any policy of soliciting illegal cooperation, such as contributing capital for investment projects, giving gifts, inviting participants for prize-winning games, tourism activities, derivative trading products, etc. in any other form.
2. Vinaconex has filed the written request with the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control under the Ministry of Public Security and other relevant State authorities for verification, investigation, clarification, and lawful handling.
3. Vinaconex currently only manages the online information and contact channels via:

Be advised, any unauthorized use of the Vinaconex brand with domain names other than those mentioned above is fraudulent and not representative of Vinaconex. This constitutes a serious violation of the law. It's of importance to note that Vinaconex reserves the right to disregard any obligations arising from impersonation scams, regardless of the occurrence of damages.
4. To avoid becoming a victim of this scam, never follow instructions provided by scam websites, particularly, avoid accessing or downloading links related to monetary transactions. If you think you are a victim of this scam and suffered a financial loss, please file a criminal complaint attached relevant information with your local Police.
