On the morning of October 5, the Inspection Delegation No. 3 of the Hanoi Party Committee’s Standing Board, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Phong - Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, supervised the leadership, direction, and organization of the key projects’ implementation under the Management Board of Investment Projects on Civil Constructions and Industrial Works in Hanoi city, which include the Hanoi Children’s Palace construction investment project.
Comrade Phung Thi Hong Ha, member of the municipal Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Council, and representatives of leaders of relevant departments and units joined the delegation.
On the basis of direct reporting and supervising at the construction site, Comrade Phung Thi Hong Ha highly appreciated the efforts of the PMU in providing leadership and guidance to the parties at all levels to implement the key symbolic projects of Hanoi that basically met the set schedule.
Regarding the Hanoi Children's Palace project, which has a total land area of nearly 40,000 sqm, and a total investment capital of up to VND 1,376 billion, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong - Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee proposed that it’s necessary to consider the plan of integrating the balancing lake park’s landscape as well as expanding the square to host important events of the city. Particularly, the interior of the Hanoi Children’s Palace shall be suitable, synchronous, and enhance the project’s value. Besides, three projects—Balancing Lake Park, the Hanoi Children's Palace, and the intersection in front of the park—are required to be completed together in order for them to be efficient once they are put into use.
Honored to have been chosen as a project’s contractor, Vinaconex is in charge of the following items: building the body structure, finishing block B1 (7 floors and a roof); building the body structure, finishing block B2 (7 floors), the Astronomy Tower (18 floors), and building, supplying, and setting up ME systems for block B. According to the signed contract, the total construction value of Vinaconex at the project exceeded VND 337 billion, with a construction term of 620 days (from November 6, 2021, to August 21, 2023). Vinaconex contractor so far met the schedule and quality committed to the investor.
Block B1 (including function rooms combined with a swimming pool, gymnasium): Its construction of body structure reached 93%
Block B2: Its construction of Body Structure reached 70%
The Astronomy Tower has been executed as planned.
The construction of the outdoor technical infrastructure, building blocks A, B, etc., in the Hanoi Children's Palace project, is being implemented. The supervisory delegation requested the construction units to accelerate the implementation progress.
