The 7th Vinaconex Headquarters’ Trade Union Congress Of Term 2023 – 2028 (The Trade Union Congress At The Grassroots Level) Took Place Successfully

On December 9, 2022, the Trade Union of Vinaconex Headquarters held its 7th congress for the term 2023 – 2028 successfully. This grassroots congress took place as Vinaconex has been implementing the corporate restructuring orientation across the Corporation, in which the Corporation’s headquarters had been paving the way and actively fortifying the structure to fulfill the requirements of production and business tasks of the Corporation.

• Comrade Dang Ngoc Diep - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization – Inspection Committee of Vietnam National Union of Building Workers.
• Comrade Pham Manh Tung - the Department of Propaganda - Women's Public Affairs’ Specialist under Vietnam National Union of Building Workers.

Vinaconex Corporation’s side:

• Comrade Dao Ngoc Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Corporation’s Board of Directors.
• Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Party Committee, President of Corporation’s Trade Union

In the Congress, the achievements of the Headquarters’ Trade Union in the 2017–2022 term were summarized, and its directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2023–2028 term were outlined.

The overall goal of the Headquarters' Trade Union in the 2023–2028 term is concretized as always accompanying Vinaconex's sustainable development and outreach, being steadfast in maintaining its position as the leading grassroots Trade Union in the Corporation's Trade Union system, taking the initiative in terms of innovation, creativity, and the application of science and technology in performing tasks, while actively promoting the interests and benefits of union members and employees.

Attending and directing the Congress, Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan - Deputy General Director of Vinaconex, on behalf of the Board of Directors expresses appreciation and recognition for the great performance of the Corporation's Trade Union throughout the last term in propagating and motivating employees to comprehend the corporate restructuring orientation across the Corporation, thereby assisting employees in adapting to the volatile as well as meeting the needs of the Corporation system's production and business responsibilities.

Under the authorization of the Secretary of the Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Party Committee, President of Corporation’s Trade Union delivered the directives and tasks of the Headquartes’ Trade Union in the new term, which were always promoting its position as a bridge between the Board of Directors and employees, continuing developing the solidarity and unity of employees throughout the system, contributing to the task completion in the term 2023-2028

On behalf of the General Meeting, Comrade Nguyen Hai Lam expressed appreciation and accepted comments and directions from the leaders of the congress and the Corporation, at the same time, he stated his determination to manage and fulfil the assigned tasks properly in order to strengthen the movement of employees, workers and activities of the Headquarters’ Trade Union.

In accordance with Instruction No. 28/HD-TLD dated June 24, 2021, of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, with a spirit of solidarity and high consensus, the delegates directly elected the Executive Committee including 11 Comrades, and the title of President of the Headquarters’ Trade Union that Comrade Nguyen Hai Lam was re-elected for in the term 2023-2028.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the 7th term, Comrade Nguyen Hai Lam - President of the Headquarters’ Trade Union for the term 2023-2028 expressed his gratitude for the trust of all members and promised to work together with all union members and employees of the headquarters in order to successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress, improve the efficiency of the trade union activity and job quality, and contribute to the building of sustainable and strong growth at Vinaconex.
