THE VINACONEX'S TRADE UNION PRESENTS SPRING GIFTS TO CORPORATION’S TRADE UNION MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES

To foster the festive spirit of “Traditional Tet 2024” in the Vinaconex Family, on January 23 the Corporation's Trade Union arranged a special program called “Gift Giving to Union Members and Employees in celebration of the Year of the Dragon 2024”.

The event was attended by:

• Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the Standing Committee of Vietnam National Union of Building Workers, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of the Corporation's Trade Union.
• Mr. Nguyen Hai Lam, Vice President of the Corporation’s Trade Union, President of Trade Union in the Headquarters;
• Mr. Hoang Thieu Bao, Secretary of the Corporation’s Youth Union;
• With members of the Corporation's Trade Union Standing Committee, Executive Committee and employees of the Headquarters.

Following directives from the Central Committee, Hanoi City Party Committee, Vietnam National Union of Building Workers, and the Corporation’s Trade Union regarding support activities for union members and employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Corporation's Trade Union received 65 Tet gifts valued at VND 1 million each from the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and the Corporation's Trade Union for distribution. 

In his address during the event, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Standing Committee of Vietnam National Union of Building Workers, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of the Corporation’s Trade Union stated that the Tet gift program for union members and employees facing challenges reflects the solidarity, care, and responsibility of the Vietnam National Union of Building Workers, Vinaconex’s BOD and Trade Union. Looking forward to 2024, he assured that the Vinaconex Corporation's Trade Union would undertake more specific and practical activities to safeguard the rights and benefits of employees.

On behalf of the Vinaconex headquarters’ Trade Union and its members attending the program, Mr. Nguyen Hai Lam, President of the Headquarters’ Trade Union, extended heartfelt gratitude to the VNUBW and the Corporation’s Trade Union for consistent care and concern to the members' well-being, particularly during holidays and the New Year. He would like the Tet gifts distributed to be used meaningfully, fostering a joyful and warm atmosphere among the Vinaconex family members. He also emphasized that with the support of trade unions at all levels, employees of the Corporation's headquarters would continue to strive for personal growth, promote teamwork, and contribute creatively and effectively to the development of Vinaconex's culture, brand, and business activities.

In addition to the 65 gifts given to union members and employees at the Corporation's headquarters, the VNUBW and the Corporation’s Trade Union would distribute the remaining 234 gifts to grassroots Trade Unions across the Vinaconex system. This gesture underscores the commitment and responsibility of the VNUBW, Party committees, and trade unions at all levels of Vinaconex Corporation in supporting union members and employees, particularly during the Tet season.
