Chairman of the Board, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh requested that PMU no.1 direct the executive board of the joint venture for package no. 10 to adhere to regulations on quality and technical standards and ensure progress as specified in the contract with the investor. It was also requested that the relevant units review the legal regulations related to the construction work.
On August 5th, a delegation from the Corporation, led by Chairman Dao Ngoc Thanh, paid a visit to review and inspect the construction work of package no. 10 under the project of connecting road from Van Don - Mong Cai Expressway to Van Ninh port (Van Gia), Mong Cai city.
During the meeting, Chairman Dao Ngoc Thanh emphasized the Corporation's position as a leading enterprise in the construction industry and expressed the responsibility to the authorities, local people, investors. The PMU No. 1 and executive board of the JV for Package No. 10 shall be responsible for implementing the bidding package in strict accordance with regulations on quality and technical standards, ensuring progress stipulated in the contract signed with the investor, and complying with relevant legislation.
Besides, the Chairman asked the Corporation's Department of Foreign Affairs and Legal Affairs closely collaborate with the PMU No. 1 and executive board of the JV to thoroughly review legal issues related to the execution of package 10.
Furthermore, he stressed the importance of PMU No. 1 and the executive board fully following the approved design documents and complying with relevant technical standards. If there are any issues that require changes to the technical documents, they must be reported and approved in writing by the competent authorities before being implemented.
The bidding package is currently undergoing the implementation of crucial items, the PMU No. 1 and executive board of the JV are working diligently to expedite the progress, rigorously oversee the construction quality, promptly addressing any project-related issues, and ensuring the project's timely completion, in line with the investor’s design and technical standards, thereby bolstering and maintaining the Corporation's reputation in the construction industry, as well as the Vinaconex brand in the market.

It functions as a focal point for gathering and distributing Vietnam’s import and export goods to the Chinese market, forming a logistics service chain to optimize import and export efficiency, while meeting the requirements of national security, sovereignty over sea and islands if needed. Once completed, this project will significantly contribute to the modernization and synchronization of the infrastructure and transportation network, and boost the transportation and import-export activities. |
